Linden, March 20 - Mrs. Lena Maude Hoss, native of this community died at the Home Hospital in Lafayette at 2:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Hoss was born near here, April 27, 1886, a daughter of Walter and Mary Shotts McBee. She was married to Walter Hoss, Feb 20, 1907. She was a member of the Linden Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. S. E. Keller, Lafayette two sons, Chayce Hoss, Detroit; and Isaac Hoss, at home; one brother, Isaac McBee, Linden; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Montgomery, Linden and Mrs. Elsie Parker, Ft. Wayne and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the family residence, two and a half miles southwest of Odell. Burial made at Linden Cemetery. - typed by kbz
